Calendula Flowers Infused in 40% Alcohol

Medicinally, calendula soothes the digestive tract and mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, so is used for indigestion, ulcers, gastritis and inflammation.

Often called 'liquid sunshine', calendula's peak harvest time is mid-summer in the mid-afternoon, when the full force of the summer sun is truly captured in it's sweet orange-yellow face.
In our household it's utilised to neutralise the winter blues because it feels like sunshine on the inside!

All our plants. flowers and hebs are sustainably harvested from our spray-free native/food forest on the Banks Peninsula, New Zealand/Aotearoa.
