Balm of Gilead Seeds
Scarify seed lightly on sandpaper and sow in spring. Barely cover, tamp well and keep evenly moist until germination. Prefers full sun or part shade. Behaves as an annual where winters are cold, but self- sown seedlings will appear in Spring. Grows to a height of 1.5m x 3.3m wide. and has a highly aromatic lemon-camphor scent. It has many uses in the herbal kitchen including as an aromatic tea and in pot pourri. All our seeds are sustainably harvested from our wild food/native forest, Banks Peninsula, NZ. Sow by March 2022.
